MARKETPLACE
A separate section of Pappipo operated by the Company in accordance with the Terms & Conditions, the aim of which comprises the execution of Transactions, available in a dedicated national domain.
BILLING ACCOUNT
A section of the Account maintained by the Company for the User for the settlement of fees and sales commissions for services performed by the Company on Pappipo charged in accordance with the Terms & Conditions, separately for each Marketplace and in its currency
PRODUCT/S
Goods, services, or rights that have been specifically defined and identified in the Product Catalog by indicating their name and features and functions.
PRODUCT CATALOG
A systematic list of data relating goods, services, or rights, made available to the Users by the Company, in compliance with the rules defined by the Company, particularly through the functions of Pappipo.
REGISTRATION
The procedure of setting up an Account
ACCOUNT
A collection of resources administered by the Company for the User under a unique name (login), where the User’s data and information about the User’s activity on Pappipo are collected.
USER
An entity that received access to services supplied on Pappipo by the Company pursuant to the Terms and Conditions.
Pappipo Vendor User
A user who is a Vendor Account holder
SELLER / VENDOR
An individual who initiates sales or offers to sell goods
BUYER
A user who uses Pappipo to make purchases or purchases goods
GOODS
Items, services or rights which are the subject of an Offer
OFFER
A proposal to complete a sales agreement for Goods on the terms specified by the Seller, including, in particular, the price and a description of the supplied Goods, utilising the functionalities available on Pappipo.
AUCTION
A sort of an offer launched by the seller in which the bidder specifies the price for which they are willing to purchase the goods.
TRANSACTIONS: Procedures for entering and completing contracts for the sale of goods between Pappipo users.
DISCUSSION: Dispute between Seller and Buyer regarding transaction implementation using Pappipo post-purchase assistance features.
SECTION 2: TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION in Pappipo
- If you disagree with any part of these Terms, or if you are not eligible or authorised to be bound by them, please do not access or use the Service/s offered by Pappipo Enterprise.
2.1 Natural individuals of at least 18 years of age with full legal capacity, legal persons, and organisational units without legal personality but capable of acquiring rights and assuming duties on their own behalf are among the permitted users. Allowable Users may be individuals who are not yet 18 years old in the sense that they can acquire rights and assume obligations under generally applicable legal provisions. If national laws require that the age of majority be reached or a restricted capacity be gained at a different age, such restrictions will apply.
2.2. Natural individuals who do not engage in any business activity on Pappipo must register by completing an applicable form, where:
a. Full Registration, allows you to use all of the Company’s services and Pappipo functionalities, including the buying and selling of goods.
b. Simplified Registration allows you to use only part of the Company’s services and Pappipo functionalities, omitting the sale of goods.
2.3 Natural individuals who engage in any business activity, legal persons, or organisational units referred to in paragraph 2.1 must register using the appropriate registration form and provide the data requested therein. Subsequently, such businesses must submit the Company a copy of the documentation proving the afore mentioned data regarding their commercial activities.
The entity being registered supplies the required data while filling out the registration form. Depending on the registration method and type of data provided:
- A message will be sent to the email address provided in the registration form, stating how the registration should be confirmed and any other information necessary by law.
- A message with an activation code and other information required by law will be sent to the contact number provided in the registration form.
Using the available registration confirmation techniques, the entity being registered may verify the registration. The registered entity and the company enter into an agreement on the company’s provision of services on Pappipo on the terms and conditions outlined in the Pappipo Terms & Conditions upon the confirmation of the registration.
The Company reserves the right to demand further declarations and documents confirming the conduct of business activity by entities with their head office, registered business activity, or real site of conducting business activity outside of Nigeria.
When a user completes a payment transaction, they attest that they have the authority to provide the payment services operator involved in the transaction processing permission to send the payer’s data to the company by accepting the terms and conditions.
It is prohibited for the User to remove data contained in the User Account settings after registration, with the exception that the User may remove the profile image allocated to their Account at any time. To remove the contact number, the User must notify the Company through the methods of communication specified in the Pappipo Terms and Conditions.
The account user shall gain access to the Account on Pappipo.com (signing in) by entering their:
- Login, email address, or phone number
- password or an SMS code (when signing in with a contact number), or both if two-factor authentication is enabled.
Signing in to Pappipo.com through an automated solutions service, signing in using biometric data on a mobile device after first enabling this function (biometric data are stored on the device and are not made available to Pappipo.com), and external authentication services (e.g., those offered as part of other websites cooperating with the Company, including social media), will have the same effect as signing in directly on the Pappipo.com platform. The usage of automated solutions, particularly automatic login software, is at the user’s own responsibility.
A user may create many accounts as long as each has a unique email address. Another Account may not be registered using the same information until the existing Account’s verification procedure is complete. Users with current Subscription services can switch between any number of Accounts when entering into Pappipo, eliminating the need to sign into a specific User’s Account each time. Furthermore, once logging onto the Account, users can authorise anyone to access specific Transaction and Offer processing functions.
Users are solely accountable for any actions or omissions relating to the aforementioned activities performed by the authorised person.
The user may not use Accounts to engage in conduct that violate the Terms and Conditions.
The Accounts are non-transferable and users should update data in account settings, including their contact details and all must be legal and legitimate in accordance with the Pappipo Terms & Conditions
The Company shall implement methods that ensure a sufficient level of security for Transactions and other services provided by Pappipo and used by the User.
ACCOUNT REGISTRATION & MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY & SELLER / VENDOR ONBOARDING
- Natural individuals of at least 18 years of age with full legal capacity, legal persons, and organisational units without legal personality but capable of acquiring rights and assuming duties on their own behalf are among the permitted users. Allowable Users may be individuals who are not yet 18 years old in the sense that they can acquire rights and assume obligations under generally applicable legal provisions. If national laws require that the age of majority be reached or a restricted capacity be gained at a different age, such restrictions will apply.
- If Pappipo Enterprise is notified that you are under the age of 18, or if it is found that you are underage, Pappipo.com has the right to terminate, delete your account and deny you access to the website.
COMMUNICATIONS
- You agree and understand that by registering and communication with pappipo via any of the available channels which include; facebook, sms, whatsapp, twitter, email, linkedin, pinterest, vimeo, that you may receive marketing emails and communications from pappipo.com periodically and at pappipo.com's own discretion.
USER OBLIGATIONS
Users should abide by all applicable laws, including those pertaining to consumer protection, good behaviour, and the Pappipo Terms and Conditions in all of their acts. Users are prohibited from acting in a way that violates the Pappipo Terms and Conditions, industry standards, relevant legal restrictions, or in a way that jeopardises the security of Pappipo operations or is harmful to other Users.
If you use pappipo.com, you are in charge of protecting the privacy of your User ID and Password as well as being accountable for any actions taken using those credentials. You understand and agree that pappipo.com has the right to permanently suspend, terminate, block access to your pappipo.com membership, and refuse to grant you access to the website if you provide any information that is false, inaccurate, not current, or incomplete, or that pappipo.com has reasonable grounds to suspect is false, inaccurate, not current, or incomplete, or not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.
The accuracy of the performance of the agreement reached between the Buyer and the Seller must be explained by the User. Following the Buyer’s allegation of misconduct, the Seller has 24 hours to respond and provide thorough explanations in the Discussion. Saturdays, Sundays, and other public holidays are not included in this response time, as required by the laws governing the Seller’s country of registration or permanent residence.
In cases where the discussion relates to goods that have not been delivered and the delivery deadline has passed, the seller has seven days to address the buyer’s concerns. Specifically, the following will be considered a solution to the issue:
- sending the package tracking number or contact to the dispatch riders to demonstrate that the delivery is in process or that the parcel has been delivered,
- Refunding the sum paid to the Buyer using the appropriate medium.
CONTENT & MANDATORY DECLARATION
- In connection with our provision, expansion, and promotion of our Services, including the development of new offerings as part of our Services, in any media now known or developed in the future, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sublicensable (through multiple tiers) right to exercise all Intellectual Property Rights you have in that content. You renounce, to the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, the right to pursue pappipo, our assignees, our sublicensees, and their assignees for infringements arising out of our, those assignees', and those sublicensees' use of that content in connection with our offering, growth, and advertising of our Services.
- We strive to provide trustworthy product data, but we cannot guarantee that the information given through our Services will always be available, accurate, complete, and up to date. You agree that pappipo is not responsible for reviewing or warranting the listings or content given by third parties via our Services, and that you will not attempt to hold us or our data sources liable for any inaccuracies.
- We supply third-party product data (such as photos, descriptions, and specifications). You may use such content only in your pappipo listings as a Vendor. Pappipo has the right to modify or revoke this permission at any moment. The product data contains copyrighted, trademarked, and other proprietary content. You undertake not to remove any copyright, proprietary, or identity markers from the product data, nor to produce any derivative works based on it (other than listing the data).
DISCLAIMER ON WARRANTIES AND LIABILITIES
- You represent and warrant that you own or otherwise control all of the rights necessary to deliver such content and meet your responsibilities under this User Agreement. You represent and warrant that the content is accurate, relevant, and legal. You agree and warrant that the use of any such content (including derivative works) by us, our users, or those under contract with us, in accordance with this User Agreement, does not and will not infringe any third party's Intellectual Property Rights. Pappipo assumes no responsibility or liability for any content submitted by you or a third party.
- In no event will Pappipo.com and Pappipo Enterprise be liable to you for anything about the use of the pappipo.com website, its contents, or anything else related to it.
- The websites, servers, information, content, materials, products (including software), and services that are included on or otherwise made available to you through Pappipo.com are not guaranteed to be virus-free or to contain any harmful elements by Pappipo.com or Pappipo Enterprise.
- Pappipo.com does not constitute, nor is it intended to constitute, any type of advise.
- Every product that is sold on pappipo.com is subject to the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If Pappipo is unable to deliver any of these products to you because of those laws, Pappipo will either return the item or credit you for the money it received from the sale of the item that it was unable to deliver.
- On pappipo.com, you will need to provide a active and valid phone number in order to place an order. By providing your phone number to pappipo.com, you agree to receive phone calls and/or SMS notifications from Pappipo in the event that there are any updates regarding your order, shipment, or delivery. Your personal information won’t be used by Pappipo to send you unsolicited phone calls or texts.
VENDOR LISTINGS CONDITIONS & BEST PRACTICES
When listing an item, you agree to abide by the following:
You agree to list in accordance with the Prohibited and restricted items policy and all other pertinent policies, and you are responsible for the accuracy, content, and legality of the item listed, including listing content created using tools made available by pappipo or third parties, such as translation, image editing, and generative artificial intelligence tools;
At pappipo's discretion, content that transgresses any of its policies may be altered, obscured, or removed.
Listings may contain content added by pappipo at its exclusive discretion, such as a video promoting pappipo services and/or programmes;
TRANSACTIONS ON AND PRODUCTS
Pappipo does not participate in the actual transaction between buyers and sellers. The sales contract is directly between the buyer and the seller. Pappipo is not a party to the transaction and does not conduct typical auctions. Unless through restricted programmes announced in the near future, pappipo does not own anything listed or sold on pappipo.
Although we might include price, shipping, listing, and other instructions in our services, please note that this advice is purely advisory and you are free to choose whether or not to heed it. Pappipo does not examine user-generated content or listings. Pappipo does not have any control over, and does not, unless specifically provided, guarantee the existence, quality, safety, or legality of items advertised; the veracity or accuracy of user content, listings, or Feedback; the ability of sellers to sell items; the ability of buyers to pay for items; or the completion or return of a transaction by a buyer or seller.
INDEMNITY
You agree to indemnify and hold us (including our affiliates and subsidiaries, as well as our and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents) harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, made by any third party as a result of or arising from your breach of this User Agreement, improper use of our Services, or violation of any law or third-party rights.
ABUSE ON PAPPIPO
We may restrict or prohibit access to, and your activities on, our Services; cancel bids; remove or demote or otherwise restrict the visibility of listings; delay or remove hosted content; remove any special status associated with the account; reduce or eliminate any discounts; and take technical and legal steps to prevent you from using our Services, among other remedies if :
- We believe that your actions may cause legal issues for us, our users, suppliers, or third parties.
- Additionally, we believe that such restrictions will enhance the security of the Pappipo community and reduce financial liabilities for users.
- We also believe that you are infringing on third parties' rights, acting inconsistently with our policies, or abusing our employees.
Using one or more of these stated policies, we may, at our sole discretion, provide a mechanism for users to submit such violations for us to review and address.
We may take into account the user's past performance history and the particular circumstances when enforcing our regulations in the event of a buyer or seller dispute. We can decide to act morally and leniently towards both vendors and purchasers when it comes to enforcing policies.
PROHIBITED ITEMS AND PRODUCTS
As part of any Transaction, Sellers may not list Goods that violate applicable legal provisions (taking into account the provisions of any foreign law and the provisions of Nigerian law that may apply in a given case) or third-party rights (in particular copyrights and other intellectual property rights), as well as listings that may be considered to violate good practice. Sellers must not sell Goods in a specific state/country or take any action related to the sale in that state/country if it violates the laws of that state/country.
By including information or data in the description of a product/s, the Seller declares that they have the right to include them in the product/s and agrees to use them on Pappipo.com and by the Company in accordance with the Pappipo.com Terms & Conditions. The Seller also declares that the content of the offered product/s constitutes commercial information. The Seller is liable for the truthfulness of the declaration and the responsibilities mentioned in the preceding clause. The Seller agrees to free the Company from any liability resulting from a false statement, non-performance, or improper performance of this obligation.
An offer or product description should be accurate and thorough, and should not mislead other users, particularly about the Goods’ condition, parameters, quality, origin, brand, or manufacturer. An offer or product description shall conform with applicable legal provisions, including the information required by applicable consumer protection regulations, and may not advocate the use of the Goods in a manner that violates applicable laws. The offer description may not include anything that violates applicable legislation. The User is solely responsible for the content of their Offer, including any errors or inaccuracies. The Seller certifies that they have the right and ability to reach an agreement with the intended buyer and to carry it out.
ROLE
The Company provides Users with an online commerce platform and other functionalities that allow them to conclude and execute Transactions, as well as transfer other content, including between Users, in accordance with the rules outlined in the Pappipo Terms & Conditions and the terms & conditions of the respective services. Neither of these functionalities can be equated with understanding the content offered by users. If any content violates the law or the Terms & Conditions, the Company will take the necessary steps and procedures outlined in this part remove it completely.
The Company shall not be held liable for Users’ conduct on pappipo and for the undue performance or failure to perform Transaction-related agreements, as well as for the consequences of actions performed by Users or third parties which violate the provisions hereof, if, despite the exercise of due diligence, the Company did not know or could not have known of the illegality of the actions of the User or third party, and for that reason did not take immediate action to correct the violation or its consequences, or to block access to the information.
The Company disclaims all liability with regard to the quality, safety, legality, and suitability of the goods sold in offers; the ability of sellers to sell; the solvency of buyers; and the truthfulness and correctness of information supplied by users within pappipo.com, including but not limited to product and service reviews, correspondence during discussions, and advertisements.
The Company reserves the right to moderate User content on the Marketplace interface manually or automatically if it violates generally applicable provisions of law, the Pappipo.com Terms & Conditions or ethical standards.
The Company may check Users’ adherence to the Terms & Conditions. Such a verification could include, for example, checking to see if Users are adhering to the appropriate Terms & Conditions. The verification shall be completed, in particular, by making contact with a specific User and recording/documenting that encounter.
The Company provides methods for reporting illegal content via electronic means. To submit a report, complete the appropriate form, including all mandatory fields. The Company will notify the notifier of the report’s acceptance and determination without undue delay, provided that it has been given with the reporter’s electronic contact information.
Persons or entities who frequently submit manifestly unfounded reports or complainants who frequently lodge manifestly unfounded complaints may have their ability to make the notifications referred to in the preceding paragraph or lodge the complaints referred to in Section 21 of the Pappipo Terms & Conditions suspended for a limited period of time and upon receipt of a prior warning by the Company. When deciding on a suspension, the Company must consider relevant facts and circumstances, particularly:
- the total amount of plainly illegal content or manifestly unjustified reports or complaints that were transmitted, made, or lodged within the relevant period;
- the ratio of such number to the total number of pieces of information or reports that were forwarded or made during the relevant period;
- . the burden of abuse, including the type of illicit content and its consequences.
- . the intent of the service receiver, person, entity, or complainant, where known.
If a user’s conduct contravene the Terms & Conditions and applicable laws, the Company may:
a. Send an email notification to the user,
b. Warn the user by email;
Serving the user a notice and a warning does not automatically result in the suspension of their account or prevent them from accessing certain Pappipo services; rather, it only serves to alert them to the possibility that their account may be suspended or their access to certain Pappipo services may be restricted if they continue to violate the terms and conditions.
The Company may also temporarily restrict the user’s access to individual Pappipo services, suspend one, many, or all of the User’s Accounts for a set or indefinite length of time, or terminate and delete the user’s account from the platform entirely. The Company will notify the User via email if the Account is suspended or access to specific services is restricted, and will explain why. The User may appeal the Company’s decision in accordance with the provisions of the Terms and Conditions.

BILLING POLICY
Our payment-related policies guarantee that both buyers and sellers can always count on dependable, safe payment methods, clear instructions on how to pay and what to pay for, and guidance on what to do in the event of a problem.

Offers to buy and sell outside of Pappipo.com policy
We are not liable to any transaction that was completed outside pappipo.com. It is strongly recommended that when you start a transaction on pappipo.com, you complete it on pappipo.com and if possible, pay at check out to get the maximum protection in case something goes wrong.
PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY
Personal data given by Users in authorised areas shall be processed by the Company in accordance with the applicable rules of law and privacy policy.
Users’ personal data may be given to other Users only in the instances specified herein for Transaction-related purposes, and in all other cases with the data subject’s prior consent.
A User may not disclose to third parties any information about other Users obtained from the Company in connection with the use of Pappipo unless the User obtains the prior agreement of the data subject. In particular, the use of such information for commercial reasons, particularly to promote any User’s activity conducted outside of Pappipo, is prohibited.
TRADEMARK & COPYRIGHTS
Pappipo Enterprise, all Rights Reserved. Trademarks, service marks, or trade dress of Pappipo in Nigeria and elsewhere include the names "Pappipo" and "Pappipo enterprise," as well as other Pappipo marks, logos, designs, and phrases that we use in connection with our services. They cannot be utilised without Pappipo's full prior written consent. Failure to comply will be met with full strength of the law.
